Banana-Walnut Bread

Prep Time: 12 minutes | Bake Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

3/4 granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 overripe bananas, finely crushed
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Directions

      1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease with unsalted butter a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan; set aside.

      2. Place sugar, butter, eggs, salt and vanilla in large mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed of electric mixer for 2 minutes, or until well combined. Add bananas and flour, beat on low speed until blended. Stir in walnuts until combined. 

      3. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 45 minutes, or until golden brown and toothpick insertion comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes.

Makes 12 servings.
